Meet the Team
Our office welcomes the opportunity to care for you and your family as if you were one of our own. Meet our dental family…
Danielle Jesensky, DMD
“I grew up seeing the same dentist every six months and had nothing but wonderful experiences. He knows us all by name and we are still in contact even though I am miles away. It was not until I was older did I realize the fear that people have when visiting the dentist. I hope to change the experience by providing exceptional care in a warm and caring environment. I want to be your family dentist and have the same positive relationship with you and your children that I have had with my dentist.”
Dr. Danielle Jesensky is a native of Lewistown, PA. Dr. Jesensky completed her undergraduate degree training at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA It was during her science/pre-med training that she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. After admission to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, she was the first recipient of the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship. She also participated in many community health activities, including Give Kids a Smile Day and Bridging the Gaps where she helped to treat underserved communities and children in need of dental care. Dr. Jesensky also spent a week in the rural mountains of Jamaica on a mission trip, again providing much needed dental care and helping to supervise other dental students. In her fourth year of dental school, she was selected by her faculty to be inducted into the prestigious National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She completed a year of post graduate general dentistry training at Allegheny General Hospital and has been treating patients in private practice since. She carries a National Board Certification and North East Regional Board Certification.
Dr. Jesensky is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Discovery Study Club. These organizations provide quality continuing education lectures to help keep her practice up to date with current dental trends to best treat patients. Dr. Jesensky loves the field of dentistry and loves the relationships she continues to build with her patients. She continues to learn so she can continue exemplary care with the most modern and least invasive techniques.
After moving to Pittsburgh for dental school, she fell in love with the city and feels like a true Pittsburgher today. Her husband, Jeff, is a Castle Shannon native and has taught her fluent Pittsburghese, although she only speaks this sacred language during Sunday afternoon Steelers games or at family picnics. Dr. Jesensky and Jeff have three children, Lucy, Jack, and newest addition Maggie. They currently reside in Mt. Lebanon.
